The building is a beautiful, turn of the century, three-storey villa set in the middle of a large garden; its garden entrance only a few steps from the Matisse Chapel in Vence.
The view from the front terrace goes out to the sea. In the winter coffee is served on the veranda, where contemporary works of art set the tone. In the summer, enjoy it in the garden surrounded by wild flowers and massive outdoor sculptures.
A LIVING PLACE
Christophe Dufau has marked his territory with a personal touch: a wine cellar in exotic wood, a mosaic composition inspired by Matisse in the kitchen and, by the bar, a wrought iron tree on which clients can leave a note.
ARTISTS & MUSICIANS
At Les Bacchanales, art is everywhere. The sterling silver brochettes, the raku vegetables, the one-of-a-kind ceramic water pitchers, the napkin rings and other tableware accessories were all created especially for the Restaurant.
In its own way, Les Bacchanales is a celebration of all the senses.
Every Sunday night throughout the summer, while you dine on the terrace, a jazz musician on the saxophone plays hide and seek in the tall flowers.
